We begin the day with a ride over the Ohio River from Kentucky to Indiana via the Second Street bridge. The morning climb up and over Floyds Knobs, Indiana is the last major climb of the Tour de Kentucky. The terrain is now much easier than that of Eastern and Central Kentucky. We wander Southwest over the subsiding Indiana knobs down to Mauckport, where we again cross the Ohio River back into Kentucky.
After lunch in Brandenburg and a ride through Hardinsburg, we end our day at Rough River State Resort Park, where the lodge provides a great view of the lake.
